Job Description

JOB TITLE: Post Production Coordinator

EMPLOYER: Campfire Studios

SUMMARY: Award winning Production Company is currently seeking an experienced Post Production Coordinator to support its slate of projects. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for diverse, hands-on experience with day-to-day responsibilities within post production at a fast-growing production company.


Job Duties will include:

  • Setting up remote editor/AE edit stations
  • Managing post production interns, delegating and tracking intern assignments assigning tasks Interfacing with production, development, and archival departments within the company as it relates to post production
  • Setting up in-house edit bays
  • Maintaining staffing outreach trackers, initial outreach to confirm availability of potential candidates
  • Overseeing media backup to LTO tapes
  • Tracking asset inventory and all editorial gear
  • Assisting/tracking on project-specific network deliverables
  • Maintaining software licenses and distributing to teams
  • Assisting post production department with other tasks as needed
  • Scheduling and updating calendars


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Must have a strong interest in documentary content and a desire to maintain a long-term career in the entertainment industry
  • At least 1 year of post production related work experience. Administrative assistant experience including note taking, task management and schedule coordination is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Google applications (docs, sheets, drive etc.) required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems creatively and proactively.
  • Knowledge of AVID media composer is preferred


Benefits:

Hourly Wage:

  • $22.26 - 25.26/hr depending on experience, with a 9 hour per day guarantee ($55k-$62.4k depending on experience)
