Job Description
Job Responsibilities:


  • Create and schedule conference calls with production and studio personnel through various stages of production.
  • Facilitate delivery of features including QC and approving masters.
  • Develop potential editors’ lists for shows in pre-production.
  • Collaborate with various departments to create dailies workflow documents.
  • Act as the day-to-day liaison/first point of contact for Editorial and Post on all shows.
  • Create and manage purchase orders.
  • Schedule, organize, and set up executive and preview screenings (booking security, projection engineering, entering into our global screening system, etc.).
  • Solicit and negotiate avid rental bids.
  • Support post-production executives by answering and screening phones, scheduling appointments, and managing contacts.
  • Working with the studio distribution team to make sure their needs are met to ensure a timely release.
  • Locate, engage, and set up Editorial offices for each show.
  • Set up editorial teams with application accounts and monitor access for the duration of the show.
  • Work with production crew to arrange shipments for editorial in distant locations.
  • Manage executive travel and expense reports.


Requirements:


  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and organize multiple projects, with excellent follow through.
  • Minimum 2 years of solid working knowledge of post-production operations.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to interface with 3rd party vendors, internal executives, and staff in a collaborative and problem-solving fashion.
  • Familiarity with physical production or previous Studio production experience is helpful.
  • Familiarity with post budgets and costs as well as post calendars and applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders and expense reports.
  • A strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate and resolve routine questions or issues while still keeping senior executives aware of project status.


The hiring range for this position in California is $51,237.15-$66,306.90 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
