Porter Custodian In Casino

Gets ready for shift (garbage bags, gloves, chemicals, supplies).

• Ensure that all areas of casino are free of any spills or mishaps, and eating/drinking utensils.
• Cleans and maintains outside areas of casino including stairways, parking lot, hallways, etc.
• Sweeps, mops, vacuums floors, and empties trash cans and ashtrays throughout casino property.
• Wipe down all slot machines and chairs from dust, fingerprints and spills.
• Cleans glass doors, mirrors, walls, equipment and furniture inside and outside of building.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains public restrooms per assignment sheet.
• According to instructions and standards provided by supervisor.

1 year experience working as a Porter within casino environment preferred.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English language – speak and read.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment.
• Must be able to push and pull heavy duty equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to handle heavy-duty equipment.
• Prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching and kneeling without restriction.
