SUMMARY
Contributes to the daily maintenance and cleanliness of the appearance of the McCoy Headquarters building and property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Keeps all coffee stations, dining tables, kitchens, all hands area, stairwells, lobby, office areas, and other areas as assigned clean at all time.
  • Provides assistance for cleaning of the landscape, parking lot, and the interior of the building. Maintains grounds to increase curb appeal by picking up debris and cleaning as necessary around the exterior of buildings, rails, sidewalks/public areas, and dumpster area throughout the day.
  • Empties all office trash containers that as they become full throughout the day.
  • Replaces light bulbs as needed.
  • Complies with all McCoy’s safety and security policies.
  • Maintains and cleans all shredding stations as needed.
  • Coordinates equipment set-up and tear-down for meetings and events as directed by the Facilities Department
  • Provides emergency custodial duties as needed and directed by the Facilities Department.
  • Assists in stocking of coffee stations and storage rooms.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
WORK AVAILABILITY
  • Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management.
  • Must be regularly available and willing to work part time Monday through Friday or such other hours per day or hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
