[JOB DESCRIPTION]


We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a PMO Manager; the responsibilities of the PMO Manager include managing the day-to-day activities in the PMO, providing guidance on PMO policies and processes, overseeing project management staff, and collaborating with other department leaders to develop projects and programs.


To be successful as a PMO Manager, you should demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Ultimately, a top-notch PMO Manager should be well-organized and able to work Under pressure. Our work environment promotes self-management, which may include work-from-home days.


[RESPONSIBILITIES]



- Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.


- Planning projects, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to deliverables.


- Analyzing financial data, such as project budgets, risks, and resource allocation, and providing financial support and budget outlines to executives.


- Overseeing project development, ensuring team members efficiently carry out their tasks while upholding company standards.


- Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.


- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they meet company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet deadlines.


- Accurately documenting project creation, development, and execution, including scope, budget, and justification.


- Working with multi-functional business units and IT teams to understand and document project objectives, scope, requirements, milestones, deliverables, schedule, and cost estimates.


- Coordinating vendor evaluations and demonstrations, and providing support for vendor negotiations, deliverable tracking, and invoice processing (if applicable).


- Monitoring and controlling each project, including managing risks, issues, decisions, and action items.


- Preparing for and leading project team meetings, including creating and distributing meeting agendas and notes.


- Participating in continual process improvement within the PMO.


- Staying updated on current trends and making recommendations for self-development.


-Performing other job-related duties as assigned.


[PREFERRED EXPERIENCE]


- Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or a related field or seven years of Project Management experience


- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required


- Strong leadership skills


- Good written and verbal communication skills


- Strong attention to detail and technicalities


- Excellent organizational and technical skills


- Minimum three years of Project Management or five years of Project Coordination experience


- Demonstrated experience working in both Agile/SCRUM and waterfall environments with an understanding of SDLC concepts, methodologies, and practices


- Ability to sense, respond to, and appropriately escalate risk and change impacting a project


- Proven project schedule development and management experience


- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills


- Proven experience with people management, risk management, and change management


- Ability to be proactive and independent, as well as interdependent on the team when necessary


- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills


- Solid problem-solving skills


- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office


- Proven aptitude with project management software including MS Project, Monday.com, Jira, or similar software


- Experience in the cyber security industry is preferred
