General Summary
La Jolla Group is seeking a Planner to join the Planning & Analytics team. The Planner will play a key role in ensuring effective execution of the PSD brand. As Planner, you will create and maintain analytically driven demand, supply, and inventory plans; then work with key functional partners to reach consensus on those plans and ensure cohesive execution of the business.

Essential Job Functions
- Complete ad hoc analytical requests and provide meaningful business insights to support various business objectives.
- Analyze supply volume, mix, and flow relative to demand plans to identify inventory optimization strategies. Work with stakeholders to establish plans that maximize margin on available inventory through sales channel allocations and markdown timing.
- Maintain long-term sales forecast by channel. Socialize forecast with Finance, Merchandising, Sales, and other cross functional stakeholders to drive long-term strategic planning efforts across the business.
- Analyze historical data, sales forecasts, sell-in/through, and other market insights to translate annual financial objectives into seasonal demand plans. Collaborate with brand leadership, wholesale and direct-to-consumer sales channels, merchandising, and other stakeholders to obtain consensus on demand plans.
- Identify seasonal inventory buy needs in consideration of supply chain calendar milestones and demand plans. Obtain brand leadership, merchandising, and sales stakeholder alignment on buy needs and work with Production to ensure buys are executed.
- Maintain ecommerce open-to-buy to guide volume, flow, and mix of ecommerce buys.
- Utilize seasonal sales data and historical product lines to build future season line plan recommendations by category for merchandising and design team.
- Maintain monthly inbound and outbound inventory forecasts for warehouse to support weekly shipment and return volume by channel.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong cross functional partnerships.
- Experience planning and forecasting a seasonal business.
- Strong knowledge of forecasting and planning tools and techniques.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key insights.
- Apparel industry experience a plus.
Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or equivalent
- 3-5 Years of forecasting and analytics experience

Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.

Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
