Physician Assistant - Homeless Healthcare Collaborative

The Homeless Healthcare Collaborative PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients experiencing homelessness, provide patient/family education, and promote safe continuity of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. The PA also provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals and documents services rendered. The PA will also supervise pre-licensure and APRN nursing students, medical students, and public health students. The PA will share the responsibility of driving the mobile unit Salary range : $72.77- $97.92/ hourly

Required: Active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in California and must possess certification as Certified PhysicianAssistant through NCCPA -Required Degree from accredited Physician Assistant Program -Required ( Master's Degree from a PA program preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association -required Valid CA driver’s license -required -This Position is subject to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record. A minimum of 2 year experience as a PA -required Previous PA experience including but not limited to ambulatory care/clinics, emergency department or urgent care settings-required Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs- required Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel -required Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction -required Ability to set priorities-required Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence- required Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner -required Preferred: Bilingual Spanish-English proficiency- preferred Experience working in a low-resource and/or community setting-preferred
