Job Summary
Provides strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs to athletes and fitness enthusiasts of all ages and levels. Ability to conduct team training (personal, semi-private, and small group). Must be a self-motivator with a high sense of integrity, have good business acumen, and the ability to interact with coworkers, clients, and professionals.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:

• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Hires, trains, and develops a strong team of personal coaches
• Develop and execute camps, clinics, and off-site training
• Create a professional, safe, and fun environment
• Participate in community events that promote the field of performance training as well as goodwill towards the community
• Assist in the development of sport and individual-specific performance programs
• Establish working relationships with administration, marketing, physical therapy, and other coaches
• Execute performance assessments and evaluations
• Communicate effectively with clients (athletes, coaches, parents, and team officials), ensuring timely follow-up
• Conduct follow-up calls to prospects
• Inform directors of scheduling needs and commit to professional reliability
• Track workouts and client interactions in the Mind Body Online program
• Implement new training methods, programs, and protocols
• Assist in the development and presentation of adult fitness and boot camp programs
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility/equipment

Competencies

• Training philosophy that emphasizes functional, scientific, and movement-based training
• Experience working with athletes and/or fitness clients
• Ability to integrate sports medicine, clinical knowledge, assessment, and/or clinical recommendations into performance training
• Demonstrate a fit image that represents a commitment to a physically active and healthy lifestyle
• Commitment to continued education and furthering experiences and abilities in the sports performance field

• Occasionally bend, grasp, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:

• Ability to complete goals and activities with established or tight time frames
• NSCA – CSCS
• Ability to relate positively with customers and employees to develop positive relationships
• Must be inspiring, creative, and a team player
• ACE – CPT
• ACSM – CPT or HFS
• High level of competitive athletic experience (Preferred)
• NASM – CPT
• Ability to integrate and maintain an athletic mentality and environment
• Must possess a NCCA-accredited personal training or strength and conditioning certification
• Possess a background in fitness, strength and conditioning training, and/or coaching
• Knowledge of sports performance training, speed development, movement mechanics, assessment, evaluation, and injury prevention
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field (Health Promotion, Kinesiology, and Sports Medicine) (Preferred)
