Job Description

OVERVIEW:


The People Operations Associate is a multifaceted role that provides essential support to Gymshark’s North American office in the areas of general office administration, people operations, procurement, technology and facilities. This position will be responsible for ensuring People operations and processes are running efficiently to empower all employees in producing their best work.

Please note this is a hybrid role partially based in our downtown Denver, CO office. All candidates must be local or willing to relocate. You must also be authorized to work in the United States.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Responsible for:

  • Perform other ad hoc duties related to projects/admin as required
  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Acting as building contact and liaison, ensuring compliance with applicable safety trainings
  • Leading the coordination and planning of regional employee events
  • Managing relationships with various vendors for office-related deliveries, technology-related needs, and facilities-related projects
  • Executing regional diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a truly diverse Gymshark culture
  • Supporting People initiatives through the creation of presentations, employee materials, and trainings
  • Partnering with Accounts Payable & Finance to submit invoices and raise purchase orders
  • Supporting North American teams with administrative tasks such as invoice management and inventory management
  • Assisting with internal communications related to pay, benefits, company announcements, and cultural moments
  • Managing all daily office operations for Gymshark North America to include collection and distribution of mail, ordering and stocking office supplies, and ordering office lunches

Accountable for:

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management throughout various People processes and workstreams
  • Timely and effective communication of building news and events to employees, working to promote positivity, inclusion, and awareness
  • Timely processing of purchase orders and invoices on behalf of the North American office
  • Establishing relationship and determining ways of working with managed service provider for all technology related office needs
  • Providing a clean, safe, and welcoming office environment for employees and visitors by maintaining kitchen area, conference rooms, and other shared spaces

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience managing multiple tasks and delivering against competing timelines
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships with employees at all levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, human resources, communications, or other related field
  • Experience in administrative and/or customer-service oriented role

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Willing to challenge and be challenged
  • Willingness to give and receive effective feedback
  • Experience with fiscal responsibilities (i.e. managing a budget)
  • Previous experience or coursework in human resources

This role has a salary range between $50,000-$55,000 annually depending on experience.
