This role is part of the People Analytics team that sits within the Employee Experience function.


Principal Accountabilities


  • Provide strategic support to the people function in the areas of people metrics, predictive analytics, and reporting
  • Manage relationships with key technology vendors
  • Clearly tie people analytics to business objectives and outcomes identifying and measuring the value creation
  • Provide guidance and training to teams in analytical partnering; asking appropriate questions, interpreting data, and translating into actions
  • Develop and maintain a strong internal and external peer network relating to analytics and business intelligence
  • Keep updated and relevant on new approaches to analytics and insights including, technologies (including AI and machine learning), tools and methodologies, through research and networking to ensure AVEVA’s solutions are progressive
  • Identify and establish relevant benchmarking for meaningful analytic comparison with consideration to industry, methodology and regional | global focus
  • Establish and execute the People Analytics vision, strategy, and execution roadmap
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across the people CoE’s to improve overall strategic and operational performance and insights
  • Ensure data security and GDPR compliance relating to the provision of data in all forms
  • Maintain clear focus on the company’s ESG targets, with strong attention to DEI measures, actions, and reporting
  • Working with the Director of People Technologies, identify, select, implement, manage, and continuously enhance analytical tools to develop a portfolio to allow complex company wide people and other cross functional data analysis.
  • Ensure quality assurance and standard metric definitions across all analytical datasets and data visualisation
  • Ensure data is presented in a self-service meaningful and actionable framework for company and functional leadership teams in a global environment
  • Advance the use of complex analytical techniques and data led thinking across HR

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required


  • Ability to ideate and resolve complex and varied problems.
  • Change and project management capabilities
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills within a global environment
  • Bachelors degree; with ideally post grad degree/equivalent or 12+ years relevant experience in a related discipline
  • Broad experience with analytic toolsets and advanced analytics
  • Working knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR
  • Understanding of HR operations and people psychology
  • Well-developed general IT skills – Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Excellent communication skills – able to communicate across cultures at all levels
  • Able to synthesise complex data concepts into simple visualisations
  • Advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting with senior leaders
