Job Description
We are an Internal Medicine and Cardiology team in Greenville, SC, currently looking for a dedicated Payroll and Human Resources Specialist to join our Finance Department. As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our employees are compensated accurately and efficiently while assisting with various HR functions.
Position Overview
The Payroll and Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining employee benefits, supporting new hires during onboarding, and providing daily HR assistance. If you have experience in payroll and a background in HR administration or support, you could be the ideal fit for this role. Key Responsibilities
Process payroll for approximately 45+ employees, including hourly bi-weekly employees, in multiple entities with accuracy and efficiency.
Address employee inquiries related to payroll promptly and professionally.
Maintain thorough records of all payroll transactions.
Update and maintain payroll and benefits systems with new hire information, terminations, changes, garnishment filings, and direct deposit setups.
Provide essential support during open enrollment periods.
Generate payroll and benefits reports as needed.
Assist in managing and enhancing payroll systems and processes, and explore potential new systems.
Contribute to general administrative tasks in the Finance department, aiding with accounting and audit needs.
Efficiently manage day-to-day payroll and HR tasks, prioritizing timely completion.
Skills And Abilities
Proficiency in relevant software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with ADP software.
Familiarity with Profit and Loss reports.
Analytical aptitude for financial report analysis.
Respect for confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Ability to excel under pressure while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Keen attention to detail, accuracy in data processing and review, and comfort working with numerical data.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Resourceful internet usage skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage workflows, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Collaborative, adaptable, and reliable team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating consistent dependability.
Additional Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in payroll data entry and processing.
Familiarity with wage and hour laws and regulations.
Ability to maintain high standards of performance both in-office and when working remotely.
Physical ability to stand, lift, push/pull, bend, and work at a computer for extended periods.
