We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team as an Account Manager, responsible for territory sales of our cutting-edge analytical chemistry instrumentation, including HPLC, GCMS, chromatography, and mass spectrometers.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be the initial point of contact with end user prospects interested in our medical analyzers and chemical reagents. You will develop sales orders, communicate with distributor partners and customers, and provide product demonstrations. Your main responsibilities will include meeting or exceeding sales performance targets set by our Director of Sales, developing and maintaining a prospect database, coordinating between prospects and manufacturer representatives or distributors, and implementing promotional plans for our products as provided by Marketing.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in laboratory instrumentation
Key Responsibilities
Meet or exceed sales performance targets set by Director of Sales
Develop and maintain a prospect database
Manage the process of regular distribution of qualified leads and other information to our distribution network
Coordinate between prospects and manufacturer representatives or distributors to provide demonstrations, further information, and customer references
Travel regionally to provide instrument information and perform in-person demonstrations
Implement promotional plans for our products as provided by Marketing
Qualify inquiries generated by direct mail, advertising, and other promotional activities
Conduct timely follow-up calls or visits on all leads and provide monthly reports to the manager on actions taken
Maintain and manage company assets, including demonstration equipment, company vehicle, and laptop computer
