Job Description
CandyCo is Currently seeking a HR and Payroll and HR Administrator for a candy manufacturing facility located in Lindon, UT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with great Administrative Skills to step into a Human Resource role! Pay $19-$25 depending on experience.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Assist in maintaining files regarding employment and worker compensation claims.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assists with processing all employment actions in the HRIS system.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Create and maintain employee files.
  • Prepares new-employee files.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions related to payroll and HR.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Posts positions, tracks status of candidates in Applicant Pro, and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
  • Standardize new hire orientation process and perform onboarding procedures for temporary and full-time employees.
  • Help to organize interview protocols.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Assists or prepares plant announcements and correspondence as requested.
  • Checks all visitors in to the facility and answers incoming phones, returns calls to address questions and concerns.
  • Previous experience in working with HR related duties including staffing, benefits, and administrative tracking.
  • Wiliness to help team members when asked and pick up extra obligations.
  • Recruiting and working with multiple Staffing Agencies to coordinate very busy direct labor demands to ensure production has enough staff. Onboard the right personnel and all related items including making badges, keeping all HRIS/ERP/Internal spreadsheets kept up to date and accurate.
  • Helping to coordinate, impute, and process payroll records.


Qualifications And Education Requirements


  • Action oriented, with a strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • At least 3 years of working in an administrative position required.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • At least 2 years conducting HR duties like onboarding new hires, organizing employee files, and helping fill out benefits forms.
