Every role at Trove Brands is critical to our successful functioning as a whole. In this entry level role, the HR Admin will play an integral part in supporting a small HR team in a growing company. The HR Admin will be tasked with a wide variety of responsibilities including administrative support, reporting, data entry, employee recognition, project management and other project-based tasks. Your specific responsibilities as a part of our team will include:

  • Oversee project progress on various team initiatives.
  • Work with HR team to create, update and maintain applicable recurring and one-time HR reports, metrics and processes.
  • Support department by assisting with scheduling, filing and other curve balls as needed.
  • Support Events committee by participating in day of event preparations, running errands, preparing documents and other similar tasks.
  • Provide direct support to the VP of HR by handling basic administrative functions and supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Administer employee recognition and performance management programs, including innovation to keep programs fresh.
  • Assist VP, HR in policy administration and processing.
  • Process portions of bi-monthly payroll in coordination with VP, HR.

Qualifications


We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of a one-year commitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work/communicate with various groups of team members, strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Optimistic, highly motivated, and flexible with the ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented, proactive, a problem solver, team player and self-starter.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance a must.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to maintain confidentiality.
  • Prior HR or Admin experience preferred.
  • Some college level coursework in Human Resources or related fields is a plus.
