Front Desk/Patient Coordinator


You might be perfect for this position if you:

This is a fast-paced, fun practice with an excellent mentor and team members! The Front Desk/Patient Coordinator is the right hand of the Operations Manager and the face of the practice. This role is an integral part of the office team with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. He/she works closely with patients and clinical team members, coordinates appointments, manages schedules and patient flow, and assists patients with financial arrangements. The Front Desk/Patient Coordinator also reaches out to patients on a daily basis and is seen as a key point of contact internally and externally. We have been working diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have all the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.


Key Responsibilities


In this position, you will:


  • Schedule patient treatment appointments
  • Assist patients with financial arrangements, overcoming any and all objections
  • Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal and HIPAA laws and guidelines
  • Execute all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms and exit paperwork
  • Reschedule patients who miss appointments
  • Provide communications and information to appropriate team members
  • Other front desk duties as assigned
  • Manage dentist and hygienist schedules
  • Contact patients to complete treatment
  • Work with our clinical team to effectively manage daily patient flow
  • Prepare and present dentist-diagnosed treatment plans and financial estimates to patients


Qualifications


  • Previous experience in a dental practice strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and software applications
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to understand insurance plans
