Pastry Cook Jobs

Blue Hill at Stone Barns is seeking a Pastry Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious pastry menu items in our busy Westchester County kitchen.
The Pastry Cook is responsible for performing kitchen tasks such as setting up their workstation and ingredients in such a way that food can be prepared according to recipes. They should understand basic dietary restrictions and how they affect pastry menu items. This position requires work in the evenings and on weekends.
Qualified candidates are curious, dedicated, and should possess a strong attention to detail.
Requirements
Experience in a professional kitchen
Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well with others
Able to multitask in discrete time periods
Attention to cleanliness and food safety protocols
Experience Working With Whole Grains Is a Plus
