Compensation


Range $40.00-$60.00/hourly


This position is part-time, exempt and benefits eligible.


Compensation Is Determined Based On Experience And Department Equity.


The Performance Improvement Specialist helps to ensure that care is delivered safe, timely, effective, equitable and patient centered. The position supports the PI/Risk Management department, hospital staff, leadership, and medical staff by identifying and facilitating process improvement and safety opportunities. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to facilitate implementation of evidence-based practices by performing data extraction and analysis and PI methodologies. You'll acitvely lead and participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of quality and safety programs. In addition, you'll facilitate improvement of outcomes relevant to environment and patient safety, patient satisfaction and clinical quality.


Education


Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required; BSN preferred


Masters degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.


Skills


3 years experience in a quality management or performance improvement role preferred


CPHQ Certification preferred
