Part-Time Events And Activities Coordinator

The Part-Time Events and Activities Coordinator provides support to the administrative operations of the department.

• Coordinates and assists with planning, preparation, implementation, and setup of events being offered by the Department
• Provides guidance to student assistants
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Serves as the contact person with outside agencies and vendors coming on campus
• Coordinates and schedules vendor/performer visits, and processes all necessary paperwork to adhere to college policy
• Maintains office storage inventory for events and programs
• Reviews completed paperwork and follow-ups to assure events are set-up on time

• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office , Adobe Photoshop, and database applications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
• Possess excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and work well under limited time constraints
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience working with students, organizations and planning events
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
• Ability to deal effectively with the students, faculty and staff
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
