We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Culver City, 90232

A lovely 2 dad family in Culver City, near Rancho Higuera, is seeking a part time nanny for their 5 month old and 3 year old to start Tuesday September 5th. Care is needed long term on Mondays-Fridays from 8am-1pm. The 5 month old will be the main priority throughout the day while the 3 year old is at daycare, unless the daycare is closed or the child stays home. The 5 month old is active, enjoys being sung and read to, and can take awhile to warm up to new people. The 3 year old enjoys arts & crafts, playing dress up, and reading. Both dads WFH occasionally and the provider must be comfortable with this. There is 1 friendly cat and 2 large (~75-90 lbs) friendly dogs in the home who may get excited when meeting new people; no pet care is needed. A great candidate will be engaging, patient, have a positive energy, and understanding.

• Start date: Tuesday September 5th
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-1pm
• Length of Position: Long term, 1-2 years
• Compensation: $25-$27 per hour + gas reimbursement when driving the children

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Driving children; school pickups/drop offs - furthest distance ~10 minutes
• Folding children's laundry
• Bottle feeding + incorporating solids once child is of age
• Diaper changing
• Light housekeeping; dishes
• Morning routine for 3 year old; get dressed and take to daycare
• Meal prep/cooking simple foods for children

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid driver's license + clean driving record
• Post-High School Education is a plus
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to transport children; car seat will be provided
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional infant care experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting (children under the age of 1 year old)
• Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
