Professional Full-Time Rotational Nanny

Meet our International Poppy Family! They are looking for two Career Nannies who are fun, trustworthy, outgoing, active, and can use their own initiative. This is a Rotational Nanny position for a Los Altos family of 6!

A little about us: We are a fun-loving active family seeking two long-term ROTA nannies to join us in Los Altos home starting on August 16th. Our family consists of four children aged 9, 6, 2, and 2 weeks old. Our 9-year-old loves to play sports, our 6-year-old enjoys creative activities, our 2-year-old is full of “toddler” energy, and our newborn is sweet and needs someone who is attentive and loving.

We are looking for a 7-day on/7-day off Rotational Position from 7 am-8 pm Wednesday-Tuesday. This is a live-out position with occasional travel during your work week.

Our Family Assistant will help coordinate with the nanny for all drop-offs, pick-ups, and essential needs of the children. All kid-related duties will be included in your daily routine. Being a confident and experienced driver is essential as well as comfortable in the pool swimming with the kids.

We are looking for an all-hands team player who is energetic, proactive and an excellent communicator!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and prepare healthy meals
• Light household help around child-related needs
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children
• Engage in age-appropriate educational and developmental activities for their growth and development.
• Organize fun outdoor activities, such as visits to parks, libraries and playdates.
• School and activity drop off and pick up’s

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent communication skills with our children and us
• A passion for working with children and families.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Recent long-term consistent experience as a professional Nanny from Newborn through School-age/ Tweens!
• Someone who prides themselves on being tidy, clean and organized
• Comfortable traveling with the family including a current passport
• Comfortable swimming with. children

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong English communication skills
• U.S. Citizen /Work Authorization
• Ability to make at least a 1-3+ year minimum commitment
• A minimum of 5+ years of recent, professional experience
• Strong references from past employers
• Currently updated vaccinations including flu, Tdap, proof of Covid 19 + Boosters
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record CPR Certification if applicable
• Willing to pass two background checks (Trustline & Nanny Verify)
