Responsibilities:
Applications for Part-Time, Adjunct Instructor pools are continually accepted (unless otherwise specified) by the District and will be added to the application pool for review by hiring authorities on an as-needed basis. Should you be invited for an interview, you will be contacted by a District representative.

This is a part-time Zumba Instructor position. This assignment may include teaching day or evening Zumba classes. Zumba classes focus on dance aerobics to improve cardiovascular health and improving coordination and rhythm with the use of coordinated dance movements and music. Other duties include participation in student recruitment, maintaining subject matter currency; ability to effectively work with students with a wide range of skills, motivations, academic, and vocational goals, holding office hours, using computer and multimedia technology; collegial participation in departmental, ability to assess student learning outcomes, college and discipline-specific professional activities.

Knowledge & Abilities: Education & Experience: Minimum Qualifications (Faculty and Academic Administrator Positions Only)
Master’s in physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise or adaptive physical education
OR
Bachelor’s in any of the above AND Master’s in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration or physical therapy
OR
the equivalent

Salary:
$75.33 to $92.64 per lecture hour AND $62.52 to $76.89 per lab hour (equity fall/spring semester).
$68.76-$75.42 per lecture hour AND $57.08-$62.60 per lab hour (part-time/overload) non-instructional.

Finalized Salary Placement is based on units beyond a bachelor’s degree with a master’s degree conferred.

Foreign Degrees:
