Description
The Operations Product Development group is part of the Joint Operations Leadership Team driving technology, business process, and strategic innovation supporting Applied Materials’ Global Operations. The rapid growth in semiconductor markets across the world has created unprecedented opportunities and challenges in manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics. In this role, your work will directly align with major cross-company initiatives that position Global Operations as a strategic differentiator for Applied Materials. Staying close to business stakeholders, you will define and implement products that digitally transform the business while improving operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and business processes to implement end-to-end supply chain visibility across various organizations within Global Operations including Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics
- Serve as a subject matter expert on best practices for enhanced supply chain visibility/traceability within semiconductor and comparable industries
- Own strategy, implementation, and align business requirements for development of a new end-to-end visibility platform
- Establish performance metrics and setup monitoring to ensure that the end-to-end visibility initiatives meet desired goals and objectives
- Develop detailed business requirements including value metrics, success criteria, timeline, and go-to-market strategies
- Serve as the Product Marketing focal during development of the solution, ensuring that products remain closely aligned with business problems and end-user needs
- Work closely with Product Management on a technical roadmap to build products that serve business requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence and communicate effectively within a diverse community (sales, finance, marketing, strategy, management)
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Self-motivated individual who can drive progress towards broad objectives without close supervision
- Previous experience in executing supply chain end-to-end visibility projects is a major plus
- Experience implementing new workflows into existing business processes, or design and implementation of change management
- Greater than 4 years direct experience in operations, supply chain, or demand planning, preferably having developed technology-enabled solutions to address business problems

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
