Job Description

Our Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transportation plans for Intra- US/Canada shipments and their execution. You will be responsible for managing consolidation, 3PL, and OEM planning teams. You will also be responsible for making sure that plans align with the US/Mexico Cross border shipments.


What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will perform functions including:

  • Work closely with procurement to identify underperforming carriers and improve performance (either through modifying plans or carrier replacement).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure efficient movement of freight.
  • Monitor freight cost trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers to ensure the most cost-effective solution for the organization.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain software.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation planning, logistics, and/or supply chain management.
