First Shift seeks an Operations Manager to handle the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization. Responsibilities include the following:
- Communications-related tasks such as website updates
- Vendor relations
- Purchasing supplies and equipment
- Other related duties as needed
- Performing employee benefits and other human resources functions
- Coordination of office meetings and other office events
- Assistance with fundraising events
- Working with the bookkeeper
- Managing facilities and technology
The Operations Manager will also work with the Executive Director to develop internal office policies and procedures. This position is exempt.
Eligible candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; 1-2 years experience as an office administrator; strong organizational and project management skills; proficiency in excel and facility in use of various online applications; and demonstrated empathy for First Shift’s working caregiver client population.
The salary range for this position is $60-65K/year, depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, and a generous paid leave allowance. First Shift’s normal operating hours are 9-5, M-F. Employees work on a hybrid remote basis and are afforded some flexibility to establish work hours that enable them to meet family commitments as needed.
