Job Description
This position works closely with the Director of Operations to provide support in day-to-day operations. As a recognized patient-centered medical home (PCMH), every employee is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of quality, comprehensive patient-centered care as a member of the patients care team. By performing the job expectations described below you will be an active member of the care team thereby patients are assured access to team-based, coordinated, comprehensive, quality care.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to, the following)


  • Working with the Director of Operations, as appropriate, to get the best performance from staff.
  • Responsible for providing and assisting in practice coverage, including duties and area of responsibilities, when the Practice Manager is out of the office or unavailable; which may include on-site.
  • Assist in making sure safety regulations are followed.
  • Assist in overseeing patient support processes to enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Assist in monitoring staff use of the practice management system for accuracy and identifies issues and staff training requirements.
  • Responsible for monitoring of standards, policies and procedures for the practice site operations.
  • Attend Center staff meeting, to ensure pertinent and correct information is being shared at the Center level.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
  • Responsible for completing 30 day performance assessment and follow up if required for front office staff.
  • Assist in investigation patient satisfaction and reporting any issues.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE___________________________________________________________


Bachelor's degree in business/management or healthcare management. Three (3) years of medical practice or public health clinic management experience with two (2) years of supervisory/management experience at the department level. In lieu of a degree, a combination of equivalent educations and work experience.


TRAVEL


This position requires frequent travel within the local area.
