Gridiron IT is seeking a Open Source/Media Monitoring Analyst to support a federal program in Arlington, VA.

The Media Monitoring Unit provides stakeholders with open source reporting and analysis on existing and emerging trends of foreign policy importance. The individual will provide monitoring and analysis on global narratives in social media and digital news. The candidate should have experience creating comprehensive written reports, presentations, and charts based on research and data collection and analysis. They will need to have a working knowledge of US foreign policy, experience using open-source information sources, excellent internet research skills, and be able to find patterns in data and clearly articulate their entire analysis (methodology, results, constraints, etc). Individuals should be self-driven, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The role requires excellent writing and analysis skills, ability to provide tailored analytical insights , and ideally proficiency in multiple languages. Work may occur on weekends and off-traditional business hours.

2-3 years of prior open source or media monitoring analysis for EUR region experience is required

Proficiency in multiple languages; regional foreign policy experience; strong editing skills
