The Onboarding Coordinator serves as the administrator for new hires, including the initiation of new hire paperwork, tracking and follow up of completion of required documents. This position communicates with department and field leaders pertaining to onboarding and compliance for new hires to start. The Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for providing support to both internal and external individuals using the talent acquisition system and assistance in maintaining the HRIS records management system. This position coordinates with the Talent Management and Payroll teams to support areas of workforce management and employee records.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in supporting succession planning and workforce management documents
  • Participate in the coordination of engagement activities
  • Respond timely to requests and needs to support the onboarding of team members
  • Support onboarding processes for all team members, including orientation
  • Ensures set up is communicated to departments as needed and complete in preparation for the new team members arrival
  • I-9 completion and auditing for corporate and field
  • Generate reports and other staffing administration functions as needed within the Human Resources department
  • Arrange pre-employment testing, background & references screenings
  • Demonstrate confidentiality as appropriate in relation to sensitive information and documentation
  • Assists with new hire onboarding, ensuring all employment documents, as well as initiating the electronic profile and personal record in the HRIS system
  • Provide administration to employee records and ensure all documents are up to date and accurate within our HRIS system
  • Administer, track, follow up and evaluate onboarding completion
Skills And Knowledge
  • HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) knowledge, (Workday preferred)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills- written and verbal
