What You Bring To SBHG (Qualifications)

• Valid California Driver’s License, required.
• First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross or obtained withing 90 days of employment
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year unit clerk/secretary or clerical experience in a medical setting.
• Prior medical billing experience preferred

How You Will Make a Difference (Job Overview)

The Billing Clerk is responsible for insuring that the discharged chart is closed in the correct order, and completed. Greets and assists visitors and manages phone calls. Manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. Files complete charts into permanent location. Pulls charts upon request. Copy charts and mail out for Releases of Information. Handles special projects at the request of Supervisor. Duties are performed under direct supervision of the Administrator.

16-bed facilities

Designed for adults with mental health challenges or a recent crisis who need intensive treatment.

24/7 programs as an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization.

Individuals can live on-site in a homelike setting for a short term while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.

Able to receive physical and psychological evaluation, mental health, and case management services, in addition to assistance locating permanent housing.
