Job Summary


In this position, you will provide high-level office and administrative support services for the Data Practices and Analytics division. Duties to include:

  • Create and maintain organizational systems for managing division records and data;
  • Ensure the division's policies, procedures and guidelines are communicated to internal and external audiences;
  • Prepare communication materials that meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines;
  • Support professional staff in completing their program functions in an efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Skill in:

  • Developing and implementing administrative and program policies, procedures, and service standards in cooperation with management
  • Using computerized inventory control and/or organizational systems for tracking and filing paper and electronic records
  • Customer service (phone, in person, public presentations) and related Human Relations to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Knowledge of:

  • Computer software and word processing, such as Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Content Management and System Web Interface, Microsoft Outlook or other email systems, etc. sufficient to provide the needed technical support, and to design efficient work processes and systems
  • English (speaking, writing and reading)
  • Data entry performance and data management skills sufficient to respond to requests for information and data, for interpreting data, and for detecting data inconsistencies and resolving associated problems
  • Typing/keyboarding skills sufficient to create, edit and revise communications, documents, reports, training materials, etc

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to develop, evaluate and improve administrative procedures and systems
  • Ability to provide attention to detail and ensure accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload through efficient time management
  • Effective communication and written skills
  • Experience with document accessibility
  • Experience using electronic mail distribution systems
