We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nursing Unit Supervisor. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care while providing leadership and support to our exceptional staff. Responsibilities
Foster a positive and collaborative atmosphere on the nursing unit during your shift, serving as a reliable resource for the staff and ensuring their continued growth and success.
Facilitate patient flow and optimize the utilization of resources to ensure smooth operations and efficient delivery of high-quality care.
Utilize emergency triage protocols to effectively intake, discharge, or admit patients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and compassionately.
Deliver stabilizing care to patients of all ages as part of our esteemed emergency response team, adapting your approach as necessary to accommodate changes in patients' conditions.
Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and integrate this understanding into your patient care, ensuring that it aligns with their unique values, beliefs, and customs.
Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care plans and track changes in patients' conditions, ensuring comprehensive and up-to-date records.
Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall patient experience, such as patient satisfaction programs, mentoring opportunities, and other activities that contribute to improved patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold an Associates Degree in Nursing or a Diploma.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Possess a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with skills demonstration.
Minimum Experience
Have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Preferred: Two (2) years of Critical Care experience.
