Through these ventures, the Foundation strives to create outlets that promote and reward academic, athletic, and leadership excellence. The foundation’s goal is to see the youth of these programs grow safely and successfully into adulthood and become tomorrow's leaders.
The Foundation will nurture the youth it serves with the cooperation of sponsors, partners, and OCF leadership team. Everyone's commitment and hands-on collaboration is essential for success.

Primary Responsibilities:
The President of the Orlando Cepeda Foundation (OCF) will spearhead the realization of the Foundation's vision through strategic planning, fundraising, and efficient grant allocation. This leadership role is pivotal in achieving the overarching goals of OCF, involving the development of fundraising campaigns and program strategies.
Key Duties & Functions:
- Institute comprehensive systems for monitoring and evaluating the impact of the foundation's grant initiatives.
- Serve as the public and media representative for OCF, effectively conveying its mission, values, and accomplishments.
- Drive strategic planning, fundraising, and stakeholder relationships to achieve the organization's mission and goals.
- Lead foundation programs and initiatives that align with OCF's mission and values.
- Manage a specialized sub-function within the broader department, formulating strategic approaches and objectives for the sub-function while designing supportive policies and protocols.
- Ensure full compliance of foundation activities with pertinent laws, regulations, and reporting obligations.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in engaging with the community and in internal contexts.
- Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors.
- Cultivate and nurture positive relationships with key stakeholders, encompassing the board of directors, beneficiaries, community influencers, donors, and potential contributors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Preferred minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Knowledge / Skills / Proficiencies:
- Solid understanding of nonprofit operations.
- Strong grasp of baseball intricacies.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English languages.
