Job Description
Responsibilities:
Peraton is searching for a talented .Net Software Developer to become part of Peraton’s Citizens Security & Public Services, State and Local West, County of San Diego Account. This position will be local to San Diego, CA.

What you’ll do:
  • May work in one or several areas, such as equipment or software design, engineering evaluation or test, configuration management procedures, statistical analysis, and modeling.
  • Provides expertise and direction in the development of business software systems.
  • The .Net Software Developer will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
  • Reviews and evaluates systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
  • Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives.
  • Uses expertise to design develop, code, test, and debug software.
  • Performs tasks necessary to ensure the identification and documentation of hazards within software systems using various analysis tools and techniques.
  • Confirms design mitigations are captured in the design and its documentation and verifies implementation.
  • Provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of code in .NET and Salesforce platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or master’s degree and 6+ years of experience in Computer Science or a related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 9+ years of experience.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and appropriately escalate issues.
  • Able to attend scheduled meetings during County of San Diego business hours.
