Software Developer Jobs

Bridger Insurance Services is looking for a Software Developer to join our team. This position will be based in Pleasanton, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, is self-motivated, and has a passion for the technology industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions, including new functionality, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop back-end and front-end components to add features, improve responsiveness and overall performance.
• Test, debug, and deploy programs.
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Interact with vendors and business partners to obtain requirements and set up systems integration.
• Develop new and maintain existing applications.
• Improve functionality of existing systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Platform.
• Experience developing web-based dashboard
• At least 3 years Mobile Application Development experience in both Android & iOS.
• At least 3 years experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with Git / GitLab.
• At least 3 years GIS experience, including turn-by-turn navigation
• BS degree in Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the auto insurance industry.
• .Net framework C# and VB.Net.
• Experience in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, or Pyramid).
• Experience as a Python, React Native, and Flutter Developer.
