Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Packaging National Accounts Manager for a major client.. As the Packaging National Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing national account customers, both through distribution and end-user, and driving sales growth. This position will require someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and relationship-building skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvements
  • Manage and grow relationships with our national account customers, including large nationwide customers and distributors.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to network with customers and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including territory sales, product development, marketing, and operations, to meet customer needs and drive sales growth
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and other business terms with national account customers
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets


Requirements:

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing large, strategic accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in in the packaging industry with major accounts
  • Strong knowledge of packaging products, materials, and applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
