The Mutual Fund Associate handles calls from current Empower IRA customers. The primary goal is to support existing customers with all aspects of their account needs. The chosen candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and a firm understanding of the diverse operational and investment needs of our customers. Knowledge of current financial markets and retirement account operations necessary.

This position can be done remotely.

What You Will Do

• Handle a high level of requests for account opening and maintenance needs
• Effectively diagnose client issues and problems and demonstrate appropriate insight and judgement to identify and explore exception processing possibilities and escalations
• Initiate proactive/follow-up phone calls on pending issues to ensure timely and satisfactorily completion
• Demonstrate knowledge of transaction requirements
• Answer and respond to operational inquiries from current IRA customers via telephone

What You Will Bring

• 1+ years customer service experience
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 required within established timelines
• FINRA fingerprinting upon hire

• Comprehensive professional skills
• Comprehensive PC skills including ability to quickly learn Empower Retirement's recordkeeping system and Salesforce software
• Bachelor’s degree, Business or Finance preferred
• IRA specific customer service experience
• Solid practical understanding of Empower Retirement's policies and procedures as well as our product offerings and the mutual fund industry

The salary range below shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Base Salary Range

$ 43,100.00-59,225.00
