Mortgage Processor - Home Equity

Quick Facts:

• Location - San Antonio, TX - Role is onsite for two weeks of training and then will be hybrid, you will be required to go into the office one day every other week, otherwise remote
• Schedule - M-F / 8-5
• Duration - contract until the end of the year - possibility of permanent employment after contract period ends
• Requires 2+ years of experience in mortgage processing
• Payrate - $24 / hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform processing functions on HELOCs (Home Equity Lines of Credit) utilizing Encompass.
• Effectively process and manage individual working pipeline. Ensure quality loan files and meet member service level expectations.
• Order underwriting documents and calculate credit/income for pre-underwriting conditions.
• Analyze and validate documentation in accordance with applicable mortgage lending requirements and internal lending policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a high volume financial institution preferred.
• 2+ years of mortgage processing experience is required.
• Proficient knowledge of financial products, services, policies and regulatory guidelines related to mortgage products is preferred.
• Prior Home Equity processing and disbursement experience is preferred.
