Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Mold Operator in Madison Heights, MI. Our client needs a Mold Operator who tends machines and manipulates materials used to fabricate molded wheels with diamond bond edging to specifications.
Responsibilities Of a Mold Operator Includes

• Calculates and sets up controls to regulate pressure and heat factors
• Hot presses and cold presses molds in accordance with work orders
• Places metal bond into molds, then presses in mixed bond by hand and using hydraulic press.
• Studies work order to determine specifications of piece, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements
• Other duties assigned by management
• Complete production records
• Operates ovens as part of the molding process
• Removes and inspects finished work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
• Wears appropriate safety equipment and utilizes safety techniques
• Push molds into hot press for specified time periods at specific temperatures.

Job Requirements Of a Mold Operator

• Meet production quotas with less than 3% scrap
• Prefer work experience and/or knowledge in production
• Be able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs., occasionally 35 lbs., and rarely 60 lbs.
• Reading, math and writing skills sufficient to perform job tasks
• Be able to stand constantly on concrete flooring

REQUIRED Education And Certification
High school diploma or equivalent.
Conducting ( drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
