Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for an Industrial Truck Operator, willing to work any shift for our Hazleton, PA facility, who will be responsible for relocating/transporting materials, finished product, and waste to/from various departments within the facility using forklift and clamp truck. Employee is also responsible for the operation of palletizer and baler, cleaning the work area, and assisting other employees as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• This position requires standing/walking on occasional basis when operating the palletizer and baler.
• Loading/unloading of trucks using forklifts and clamp truck.
• Change banding rolls on palletizer weighing 60lbs on an infrequent basis.
• Employee operates the forklift and clamp truck from a seated position to relocate/transport materials, finished product, and waste bales throughout the facility.
• Comply with all company safety rules.
• Clean work area.
• Place chipboard, box tops, and grids on finished pallets by hand.
• Complete documentation, weighing and tagging of bales, and finished product.

Qualifications

• Hands on manufacturing experience.
• Presentation and public speaking.
