• 1st Shift – Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• 3rd Shift – Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
• 2nd Shift – Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Main Purpose Of Job

• Under the direction of the area Supervisor, responsible for production work according to specifications & established policies, procedures, practices & standards.

Main Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Follows area 5S expectations
• Participates in Rapid Improvement Events
• Assembles components
• May be required to perform some specialized skills requiring a minimum degree of technical aptitude
• Barsealing/Traysealing
• Boxes products & applies labeling materials
• Follows all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) as defined by Viant policies, practices & procedures to insure that standards are met
• Maybe required to operate packaging machine
• Follows all safety rules

Job Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

• High School diploma or equivalent certification preferred

Job Experience

• Minimum of 6-12 months’ work experience preferred

Skills/Competencies

• Ability to use measuring devices & hand tools
• Ability to read, understand & follow specification sheets
• Positive teamwork attitude
• Basic mathematical skills to understand tolerances & variation

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to lift up to 35 lb, occasionally up to 50
• Significant use of hands
• Excellent vision & hand-eye coordination
• Must be able & willing to wear personal protective equipment as required including: Protective eyewear, ear plugs, hair net, protective gowning (lab coat, hood, shoe covers)
• Extended periods of bending, lifting, standing, and sitting
