Summary/Objective:


The AOI Operator performs all AOI operations to support the assembly floor.


Essential Functions:


Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


  • Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required.
  • Records and/or repairs all SMT defects found by AOI machine and communicates failures to SMT operator.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Must perform any other tasks requested by supervisor
  • Place finished goods in the designated area.
  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Must be familiar with machine functions.

Supervisory Responsibility


This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.


Training Requirements


  • Electrostatic Discharge Awareness.
  • Foreign Object Damage Awareness.
  • Hand Soldering to IPC Standard

  • General Safety. (GP10034)


Physical Demands


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The employee may have to lift and/or move items up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position


Standard Hrs: Sunday-Wednesday 5pm – 4am


Overtime: Sunday-Wednesday 6pm – 6am


Overtime is as needed and mandatory. (Can be triggered on short notice)


Travel


Local travel is expected for this position.


Preferred Education And Experience


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
