Job Description
Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Office Associate for the Radiology Administration Department at Morristown Medical Center to work 9AM - 5PM.
Responsibilities:
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
  • Act as an assistant to attending physicians
  • Communicate with sections within department
  • Monitor status of patients waiting for completion of procedures
  • Perform other administrative functions associated with hospital Radiology department.
  • Selected candidate will manage phones
  • Coordinate patient flow
  • Operate hospital information system EPIC
  • Process patient requisitions
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as an office assistant preferred.
  • EPIC Radiant a plus
  • Computer literacy and strong communication a must.
  • Registration and scheduling preferred
  • Some understating of ICD10 codes preferred
