Job Description

What we're looking for: Someone with tenacity, passion, excitement, and grit to join our team as a Medical Office Administration Faculty at our Hesperia campus


Summary: Are you an accomplished professional in your field who wants to give back to your community? Joining the faculty at SJVC is a great way to make a real impact on the next generation. Faculty members are primarily responsible for the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Faculty members facilitate and ensure student learning and mastery of course, program, and institutional learning outcomes as defined in the curriculum and course syllabi. Faculty are supported and supervised by the Academic Dean, Program Director and/or Division Manager.


What We Offer: What We Offer: The targeted starting pay range for this position is between $20-25 per hour. Our benefits program for part-time colleagues (working at least 20 hours per week) includes paid vacation and state-compliant sick leave. We offer a 401k profit-sharing plan with a discretionary match and tuition assistance to employees and their family members beginning your first day of employment.

Do you qualify? Yes, if you have experience in your field! Teaching experience is not required if you are an expert in the field and meet the below qualifications.


  • Computer skills including MS
  • Office medical terminology proficiency
  • CPR Certified (AHA preferred)
  • Certified, Registered, or Licensed Phlebotomy Technician preferred (AMT, NPA, ASCLS, ASPT, NCCT, CDPH, or NHA)
  • Knowledge of FRONT and BACK office skills required
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Associate Degree


Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:15 am - 12 pm, Friday 8 am - 10 am
