RH Brown Project Engineer
Location: Portland, OR – hybrid 2 days in office - 5 NE Hancock St, Portland, OR 97212
Salary: 90-110k + Benefits
RH Brown Co. is looking for a Project Engineer in the Portland area. Project Engineers work closely with Field Applications Engineers to create proposals, design material handling systems, and manage projects. Project Engineers at RH Brown are given a high level of responsibility and autonomy to make decisions. This role allows you to work with some of the latest technologies in the ever-changing material handling field including robotics, mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles, AGV’s, and more. Day to day:
- Commission Engineering: requiring up to 50% regional travel within the Pacific Northwest to project sites
- Project management responsibilities: Monitoring financials of the project budget, overseeing of purchase orders, vendor/equipment management, project schedule and coordination management. Responsible for working directly with internal/external stakeholders.
- Working with RH Brown sales engineers to create pre & post sale drawings using AutoCAD
- AutoCAD engineering work – both presale and post-sale – 30% of day to day
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required. Mechanical, Industrial, Systems disciplines preferred.
- Preferably 3+ years of working experience in an industrial engineering environment but will also consider recent college graduates.
- Strong AutoCAD experience
- Ability to travel regionally within the PNW up to 50% (all travel is expensed)
