Job Description

Food processing & packaging organization seeks a Sales and Operations Planning Manager in Greater Indianapolis. This role is responsible for developing and implementing Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) strategies to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans. The S&OP Manager will lead cross-functional teams to develop and maintain integrated business plans, monitor, and analyze current and historical market trends and customer demand patterns, analyze and provide insights on supply and demand constraints, potential risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization. The S&OP Manager will also collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure that financial goals are met, prepare and present reports, forecasts, and recommendations to management, identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to strengthen S&OP processes, establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, monitor and report on performance metrics and KPIs, and develop and maintain S&OP best practices and policies.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement S&OP strategies to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans.
  • Analyze and provide insights on supply and demand constraints, potential risks and opportunities, and inventory optimization.
  • Leading, motivating, and coaching a team of 5+ direct reports, consisting of material planners and schedulers in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)


Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in Food, Beverage, or Consumer Products Manufacturing is strongly desired
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in S&OP or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Base salary up to 130K, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus potential of 15%
