Materials Planning And External Manufacturing Manager Jobs

BS degree in Business, Operations Management, or Materials Management and 5 years of Manufacturing planning or relevant experience.

Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation skills including presenting to large groups and senior management.

Ensure optimization of materials management activities including scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, materials movement and indirect materials.

Planning Department workings knowledge/experience. Setting of department direction and leading, clearing obstacles and analyzing performance above the details.

Manage Resource / Production / Capacity Planners relating to machining, heat treat, assembly, and fabrication operations.

Experience with forecasting, production planning, MRP, and Inventory Control.

APICS experience and/or certification a plus.

Core functions include leadership in forecast, planning, materials and inventory management.

Strong relationship building skills with the ability to effectively collaborate, delegate, reason and influence at all levels.

Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand and replenishment processes.

8+ years related experience including planning, scheduling, inventory control and cycle counting preferred.

Demonstrated leadership qualities. Lean/six sigma working knowledge is a required.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in S&OP or a related field.

Experience working in Food, Beverage, or Consumer Products Manufacturing is strongly desired

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Base salary up to 130K, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus potential of 15%

Demonstrated in-depth skills in contract negotiation, budgeting and project management.

Demonstrated experience supporting technology transfers, cGMP manufacturing operations and CMC regulatory submissions and inspections required.

Fundamental knowledge in cell biology, cell culture, cell processing and cell cryopreservation principles.

Effective interpersonal skills as both a team leader and a team player.

Provides support for regulatory submissions related to products manufactured at the CMO manufacturing sites for which this role has accountability.

Tracks and maintains budget related to activities at the CMO and is responsible for ensuring activities complete per project timelines.

· Low hierarchy with high visibility to upper management on a regular basis.

· Minimum 3-5 years' of related experience

· 2+ years planning and / or production experience.

· Strong computer (Great Plains ERP, Office, Outlook, etc.) and interpersonal communication skills.

· The ability to work independently with strong decision making skills.
