Description:The Material Handler II is responsible for providing support for all activities in receiving, production issues and managing inbound receipts, packing, and shipping. Ensures that inventory accuracy is sustained throughout daily activities. Will be required to demonstrate a positive attitude, be self-driven, and be an engaged team member. This position will require specialized experience and/or proficiency and may be called upon to lead projects. Works under moderate supervision. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Participate in the annual physical inventory count team as assigned.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of others
• Perform inventory control including part number identification, transactions, and organizations (unplanned issues and receipts as needed, transferring of product as needed and cycle count and recount for accuracy).
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearing

• Willingness to be flexible to move to different parts of the material environment or organization to assist areas in need of additional resources
• Independent demand part orders, including inventory allocation maintenance, paperwork printing, parts receiving, parts pulling and parts packaging
• Proactively identify methods and procedures for improving productivity, be a team player, and be able to provide guidance and training to other associates.
• Satisfactorily completes training requirements and operate within all ISO standards pertaining to site including, but not limited to, control of documents and quality policy
• Complies with all warehouse safety procedures
• Requires at least 1-3 years of directly related experience
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of co-workers, assist in training of other members, and promote a strong team effort to ensure timely and efficient completion of customer requirements.
• May provide some delegation of work through the management of logs, task lists, and coordinate with team members to assist in the completion of tasks
• Forklift operations. Will provide training if necessary
• Process sales orders: Pick product, allocate product, ship product accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate part order release and part order processes
• Demonstrate ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
• Process receipts: Responsible for receiving incoming materials, parts, packages from various vendors and means of delivery. Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper or supplier to rectify damages and shortages
• Facilitate order pulls for production including identifying parts, accurately pull parts, label parts per procedure and deliver parts to production or other designated areas
• Complies with all guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of the Company's Information Assets, Security and Systems and that of its Clients.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year verifiable working experience using both sit down and stand up forklifts.
