Blast Cleaning Technologies, Inc. (BCT) has a full-time Driver/Material Handler position available.

- Perform routine inspections on forklift trucks to ensure safe operating condition.
- Unload incoming trucks (small parcels, LTL and FTL) to receive raw materials, parts, and components, and move these to their proper storage bins and locations to ensure organization and efficiency.
- Help other Departments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Helps drive and support BCT's Culture and Core Values.
- Operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count material.
- Ensure work responsibilities are completed daily, including working overtime as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area with the ability to operate lifting equipment safely and responsibly.
- Pick up or deliver raw materials, parts, components or finished products to customers or vendors as required using a company pickup truck, flatbed truck, or box truck in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. This position will require driving based on business needs, approximately 25% of the time. **Please see Job Requirements/Qualifications for driving below. **
- Load finished products for shipment onto trucks or delivery vehicles, ensuring the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Count accurately against a bill of lading for proper shipment.
- Create, complete, and maintain any required computer transactions, paperwork, and documents, etc.
- Read and pull inventory parts from a pick report.
- Participate in annual physical inventories.
- Pack and/or crate completed parts, assemblies, or components for shipment to customers following conventional packaging practices appropriate for the situation.
- Demonstrated ability to drive "safe" in various road conditions.
- Ability to read a map or have an understanding of geographic area.
- 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to follow verbal directions thoroughly.
- Attention to detail.
- Class D valid license
- If required, candidates must pass a Dept. of Transportation physical evaluation.
- Results of the physical evaluation will be compared to the necessary physical requirements.
- All prospective employees will be required to undergo a physical evaluation.
- Leaving the scene of an accident (hit and run)
- Felony involving the use of a motor vehicle
- Careless or inattentive driving (including texting or cell phone use)
- Operating while registration is suspended
- Failure to yield right-of-way
- Passing a stopped school bus
- Reckless driving
- Improper or excessive lane changes
- 2 or more moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the last year.
- Permitting an unlicensed or intoxicated driver to drive
- Drag racing
- Eluding a police officer
- Speeding less than 20 mph above the speed limit
- Driving with an open container
- 3 or more moving violations in the last 3 years. This includes:
- Running a red light or stop sign
- Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle
- Vehicular homicide/manslaughter
- Speeding 20 or more over the posted speed limit
- Operating a motor vehicle without the owner's permission (grand theft auto)
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DWI/DUI)
- Driving with a suspended or fraudulent license
- Drivers for vehicles over 26,000 pounds must have 5 years of experience.
- No drivers over 65 unless underwriter approves
- No drivers under 18.
- Clean Driving Record
- Material Handling experience (5 years preferred, not required)
- Overhead Crane/Forklift experience (3 years preferred, not required)
- High school diploma or GED (preferred, not required)
- Prospect close new client accounts consistently month after month
- Assess customers' business issues and identify products/services that best meet their needs with educated and strategic recommendation of our solutions
- Diligently follow a sales process for success
- Schedule meetings with businesses to educate them about Human Capital Management through HigherUp's software iSolved.
- Hold an entrepreneurial mindset and expect to be expect to be treated like an owners because you think like an owner while owning your process and goals
- Achieve set targets and working toward sales deadlines on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Gain a full understanding of all payroll and HR solutions in the iSolved People Cloud powered by HigherUp HCM
- Build referral relationships with other professionals who work with similar type clients (insurance brokers, CPAs, bankers, HR consultants etc.).
- Overcome customer objections, issues or concerns as necessary, again strategic thinking is key
- Able to show initiative, resilience and respond quickly to coaching
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Motivated individuals with a hunter mentality
- Bachelor's degree preferable
- Be a confident self-starter with a genuine interest in continuous learning
- Minimum 1-2 years outside sales Proven track record of success in B2B sales experience (open to any industry because we train)
