Material Handler Jobs

Olea Kiosks has grown leaps and bounds over the last two years and is continuing to grow! To best prepare the organization for moving forward we are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in material handling, including pulling parts, verifying counts, packaging and palletizing parts, and loading/unloading trucks.
Responsibilities:

• Document all parts and/or materials being sent to outside processing vendors, and advise appropriate internal parties
• Regularly inspect material handling tools and equipment; promptly notify manager of any issues that require attention
• Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the material handling area
• Prepare and package parts and/or materials for shipping to outside processing vendors
• Review production orders; locate and pull parts, materials, and/or supplies listed
• Visually inspect parts, materials, and/or supplies, and confirm counts against work order; promptly notify manager of any quality non-compliance or count discrepancies

Working hours are Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm at our Cerritos, CA location. Starting pay for this position is $17 to $19 per hour.
Requirements
Education and Experience

• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Read, write, and speak English; bilingual English/Spanish helpful
• One year experience in material handling, receiving, or inventory control
• Must be certified to operate standard forklift within 90 days of hire (Olea provides training & certification)
