Material Handler Ii - Material Releaser (1 Opening)

Description: The Material Handler II is responsible for providing support for all activities in receiving, production issues and managing inbound receipts, packing, and shipping. Ensures that inventory accuracy is sustained throughout daily activities. Will be required to demonstrate a positive attitude, be self-driven, and be an engaged team member. This position will require specialized experience and/or proficiency and may be called upon to lead projects. Works under moderate supervision. Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• May provide some delegation of work through the management of logs, task lists, and coordinate with team members to assist in the completion of tasks
• Process sales orders: Pick product, allocate product, ship product accurately and efficiently
• Satisfactorily completes training requirements and operate within all ISO standards pertaining to site including, but not limited to, control of documents and quality policy
• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearing
• Work required overtime based on business needs
• Participate in the annual physical inventory count team as assigned.
• Proactively identify methods and procedures for improving productivity, be a team player, and be able to provide guidance and training to other associates.
• Facilitate order pulls for production including identifying parts, accurately pull parts, label parts per procedure and deliver parts to production or other designated areas
• Independent demand part orders, including inventory allocation maintenance, paperwork printing, parts receiving, parts pulling and parts packaging
• Demonstrate ability to handle parts with or without material handling equipment requiring safety and delicate handling procedures.
• Strong computer and communication skills Physical Requirements:
• Forklift operations. Will provide training if necessary
• Willingness to be flexible to move to different parts of the material environment or organization to assist areas in need of additional resources
• Complies with all warehouse safety procedures
• Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe work environment
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year verifiable working experience using both sit down and stand up forklifts.
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of co-workers, assist in training of other members, and promote a strong team effort to ensure timely and efficient completion of customer requirements.

• Demonstrate ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.

• Perform inventory control including part number identification, transactions, and organizations (unplanned issues and receipts as needed, transferring of product as needed and cycle count and recount for accuracy).
• Coordinate part order release and part order processes
• Complies with all guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of the Company's Information Assets, Security and Systems and that of its Clients.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of others
