Master Data Management Analyst

Position: MDM Analyst

Location: Fully Remote

Our client is looking to bring on a master data analyst to fill the role of someone on the current team who is being pulled for the ERP implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years working within a supply chain and/or purchasing environment
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
• Experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS)
• Working knowledge of, Peoplesoft and GHX.
• Experience managing contracted price files, inventory item master data information, and vendor master data within PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities:

• Partners with supply chain staff to ensure contract products are properly built and updated in DFCI information systems including but not limited to: Approves short description field with requisitioning team and end users.
• Responsible for the management of contracted price files with mangers and submitted prices files to their systems (GHX, Prodogo, iLab, PeopleSoft)
• Aligns vendor agreements to appropriate contract coverage (products) and purchasing channel (vendor)
• Managing the inventory item master data information within PeopleSoft.
• Conducts routine audits to proactively identify data exception errors (price, unit of measure, catalog number, etc.) using department tools.
• Works with Procurement and Accounts Payable to onboard new vendors and enables appropriate purchasing method (e.g. EDI, Meta trade, etc.).
• Help manage vendor master data and ensuring all information is accurate.
• Inputting data into PeopleSoft and ensuring this data is accurate.
• Supports sourcing team to help identify off contract spend opportunities to minimize procurement of non-contracted products (e.g. specials).
• On a weekly basis, review GHX reports on price exceptions, coordinate with the contracting team, and update the price in PeopleSoft so orders flow correctly without issues.
